On Wednesday, September 8, 2010, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., The P.L.A.Y. Foundation fund (of The Dallas Foundation) is taking part in Get Up and Give! North Texas Giving Day.

Every donation above $25 will be matched if you donate to us through www.donorbridgetx.org.

Here's how to make your donation to P.L.A.Y.:
• Go to www.donorbridgetx.org.
• Go to Find a Nonprofit and enter The Dallas Foundation, then click search.
• Scroll down until you see The Dallas Foundation and then click on the Donate Now button on the right. Please note that your gift will reference "CFTexas" on your credit card statement.

The foundation is eager to continue to grow its family regionally and reach out to amputees through a wide array of vocations, ideas and aspirations through financial grants and collaboration.

P.L.A.Y has awarded a $2,500 arts & education grant to Scott Odom for his literary work related to his experience as an amputee. More details to follow. Scott Odom and AMP 1 amputee basketball have filled their roster from guys across the country and are ready to play a charity game with an exciting to-be-announced team. This will be an event you won't want to miss. The venue with be exciting as well, so be looking out for details.
